As is the case in many developed economies, many women in Hong Kong are holding off having their first baby until they are older. Yet this can lead to concerns about fertility at a later age. To address this concern, a research group at the Faculty of Medicine at Chinese University of Hong Kong, received a grant to study the quality of oocytes (eggs) by using single-cell genomics technology — a world first. In order to find egg donors, I helped to produce this website calling for volunteers.
