The Investor and Financial Education Council (IFEC) was established in 2012 by Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to promote financial literacy among people of all ages.

In 2019, I was again appointed to write IFEC’s annual report highlighting its achievements in financial education. For this year’s report (2019–2020), a theme was chosen to illustrate the importance of teaching the younger generation about managing and saving their money for a secure future.
